Drilling Supervision (Wellsite Supervision )

Also known as: Company Man, Rig Supervisor, Senior Drilling Foreman

Primary Responsibilities:

Supervise drilling operations at the wellsite (onshore or offshore).
Ensure drilling activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to the drilling program.
Coordinate rig crews, contractors, and service providers.
Monitor daily drilling performance, safety, and equipment integrity.
Maintain accurate daily drilling reports (DDRs) and cost tracking.

📐 Drilling Engineer, Operations Engineer, Planning Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design well plans including casing design, drilling fluid programs, and BHA selections.
- Develop and manage AFE (Authorization for Expenditure) and timelines.
- Monitor real-time drilling data and provide support during execution.
- Optimize performance and recommend changes to reduce NPT (Non-Productive Time).
- Work closely with geologists, completions engineers, and service providers.
